35th Annual Band-Aid

Welcome to the 35th Annual Military Band-Aid event in 2026. Last year we had another record with 84 teams. I’m thinking that amount shouldn’t change in 2026 and possibly could go up. The dates for this year are 10-14 June. As always, we try to make this experience a memorable one for all those that attend. This season I’m adding an Over 50 division for the men. We had the Coed division for the first time last year and that will continue. To make things work I’ll have to alter the days certain divisions play. The plan right now is to play the Over 50 and Coed divisions on Wednesday. Then on Thursday we’ll play the Over 40, start the Varsity B and Women’s divisions. The plan would be to have the women play Thursday through Saturday evening. Then the Varsity Men’s A, and Intramurals will run their events Friday through Sunday. The Varsity B will run Thursday through Sunday and the women I’d like to finish Saturday night under the lights if possible. This is subject to change with the amount of teams entered. We are looking forward to another momentous event thanks to the support from Dustin Roberts as well as our sponsor of the event, Headbangers Sports. I’ve worked out a deal with Homewood Suites/Tru by Hilton COS Airport to be the host hotel. We will be providing a link soon to book directly with the hotel. It would be of great benefit if you could give us a chance to post that link. I promise you it will be worth the wait with your savings. Colorado Springs Sports and Tourism are stepping up to help support the event as well. We should be providing some discounts throughout the city for families to enjoy themselves when not at the softball fields. I will be getting things set up on USSSA in the next couple of weeks. Please make sure your teams are registered on the USSSA website as a military team. I cannot bracket your team until you are registered through USSSA. But please get your teams signed up and paid.
